Neon Boots at Regent´s Park

Buenas noches chicos!!

El mal tiempo en Londres no cambiará nunca, pero gracias a la llluvia los parques de esta ciudad son impresionantemente verdes y con mil colores, y más ahora en primavera, uno de mis preferidos con diferencia es Regent´s Park, a sólo diez minutos andando desde Oxford Street, es uno de los parques en los que te adentras y parece que la ciudad desaparece por completo, sin tener el cuenta la cantidad de jardines de diferentes inspiraciones que se encuentran en su interior, y cómo no el famoso London Zoo.

En este post os enseñaré un pequeño trocito del parque y sus alrededores, que tampoco tienen desperdicio, casa de época victoriana con ventanales enormes y columnas gigantescas. Este es otro de los lugares que quién decida venir de visita a la capital inglesa no se puede perder.

Para este agradable paseo elegí un look bastante parecido al denominado Boho, puesto de moda por celebridades como Kate Moss o Sienna Miller. Unos vaqueros de cintura alta, una camiseta en color crema, sin mangas y holgada con un estampado muy discreto en negro (que aunque en las fotos no se aprecie bien son caballitos de mar jeje), un kaftan negro en tela semitransparente y un abrigo de punto gris, para darle color al conjunto me puse mis queridas Neon Boots de las que no podría estar más enamorada, aparte de bonitas son muy cómodas y tanto la fabricación cómo la marca son españolas, un sombrero de ala corta negro con una pequeña cadenita de oro en el borde del ala y por último elegí un bolso de asa cruzada en color crema.

Godd night guys!!!

The bad weather in London wouldn´t change, but thanks to the rain the parks in this city are amazingly green and with hundred of colours, especially now that it is the Spring season, one of my favourite ones is Regent´s Park, only ten minutes away walking fron Oxford Street, It is one of those parks which as long you are entering it looks like the city starts to dissapear. Apart from that it has some different gardens inspirated in different cultures and, of course, the famouse London Zoo.

On this post I will show you small pieces of this park and the beautiful victorian style houses that suround it. This is another place you should visit if you decide to come around the English capital.

For this pleasant walk I chose a look very similar to Boho´s, It started to be a trend because of celebrities like Kate Moss or Sienna Miller. A high-waist jeans, a sleeveless cream colour tee with some discreet stamp in black colour ( those ones are small sea horses), a black kaftan made with semitransparent fabric and a knitted grey coat, to bring the look a bit of coulour I wore my dear Neon Boots, of which I couldn´t be more in love with, apart of beautiful the brand and the production are Spanish, a black hat with a slim golden chain and at last a cream colour bag.

Hola gente guapa!!!

Espero que a todos hayaís tenido una buenísima Semana Santa , aunque para los que estamos en Inglaterra se nos haya torcido un poco el tiempo...

Hoy os traigo un post que no podía dejar de hacer, en él os descubro algunas de las pequeñas cosas de Londres que lo hacen bonito y especial, aunque casi nadie se fije en ellas pero que para mí no pasan desapercibidas, los coches antiguas aparcados enfrente de las casas victorianas del centro, las bicletas aparcadas en las vallas de estas mismas casas y los carteles de las calles de esta ciudad.

Por otra parte quería declarar mi amor eterno hacia las camisetas básicas con prints, especialmente en esta temporada parece que se han vuelto a llevar,  y a mi me encanta ;) .

Cómo homenaje a esta maravillosa prenda elegí una camiseta que me encanta, el print es muy original, Karl Lagerfeld con una nariz de payaso y una pajarita con la bandera de Alemania, aquí quería dejar claro que siento una gran admiración por este artista y que el estampado de la camiseta en lo que a mí respecta no es ninguna clase de burla o insulto, pero me parece muy divertido y diferente, la combiné con una falda negra (que en realidad es un peto) , una chaqueta con un estampado tribal, y unas botas altas con decoraciones plateadas.

Espero que os hayan gustado tanto las fotos de los pequeños detalles que me alegran la vista en esta ciudad tan gris como el outfit que elegí para este paseito tan agradable, y que, cómo siempre os pido me dejeís vuestras opiniones en los comentarios.

Hey beautiful people!!

I hope you’ve all had a great Easter holiday, including those who are in England and have had to experience shit weather again.

Today I’m bringing you a post that I’m obsessed with. It will show you beautiful London details that you might miss during everyday life; Vintage cars parked in front of Victorian houses in central London as well as bicycles parked up against their gates and the beautiful authentic street signs all around.

At the same time I also want to express my love for basic tops with prints, especially during this season in which they are being worn again. In honour of this marvellous piece of clothing I chose a top by Karl Lagerfeld; It has a very original print of a clown nose with a bow tie and the German flag. I do want to say that I greatly admire this artist and personally, the print of the top does not come across to me as any kind of malicious mockery but as something fun and different. This item gets even better combining it with a black skirt, a jacket with tribal pattern and boots with silver decorations. 

I hope you’ve liked the photographs of the details that cheer me up in this grey city as well as the ones of the outfit that I chose for this delightful walk. As always I please ask of you to leave me your opinions in the comments section.

Here comes the sun

Ésta vez parece la definitiva, el sol ha vuelto y las temperaturas están empezando a subir, la primavera esta aquí!!! Y con esto empiezan a salir la prendas más finas y destapaditas y en Londres no podriamos estar todos más felices :)

Había que aprovechar el solecito y que mejor excusa que la maratón de Londres que se celebró el pasado Domingo alrededor de toda la ciudad y que llenó la ciudad de gente tanto que participaba en la carrera cómo animando y viendo a los participantes. Nosotros no participamos pero disfrutamos del movimiento que este evento dió a la ciudad.

Para este día tan bonito elegí un look informal y no demasiado abrigado ( menos mal por que sino me hubiese muerto de calor). La parte de arriba se compone de un body gris y una de mis adoradas chaquetas de cuero, esta vez acolchada, para el resto elegí una short vaquero de cintura alta, un cinturón de cuero negro con hebilla plata vieja y para darle un poco más de alegría me até una camisa de cuadros con un puntito rojo a la cadera, cómo complementos unos botines bajos con abertura lateral y un bolso rojo oversize ( última adquisición de la que estoy enamorada).

Ahora sólo queda esperar que este buen tiempo continue para seguir enseñandoos modelitos más veraniegos, que ya toca.

This time looks like the definitive one, the sun came back and the temperatures are rising, Spring is here!!! And with those things the thin and light clothes are coming out of the wardrobes, in London we couldn´t be happier.

So we had to enjoy the sun and the best excuse was the London marathon that has been celebrated the last Sunday and brought to the city a lot of people some participating and other ones cheering or just watching. We didn´t participate but enjoyed the movement that the event brought to the city center.

For that beautiful day I chose a casual and not very wrapped up outfit ( thank God, otherwise I would die because of the worm). In the top side I wore a grey body and one of my dear leather jackets, this one with a padding decoration, for the rest I chose a denim short with a high cut waist, a black leather belt with old silver buckle and for giving the outfit a bit more of flair I tied a squared shirt with red details on the hips, as complements I wore a low boots with open sides and a red bad ( a new acquisition that I am in love with),

Now We just have to wait for the weather to continue like that to continue showing you more summertime outifits.

UNITED ROOT BRAIDS TUTORIAL

Hola chicos/as!!!

En este post incluyo algo nuevo para el blog, y es un vídeo tutorial.

Cómo una de vosotros/as me pidió en los comentarios del último blog que lo hiciese, he decidido en lanzarme a la piscina e intentarlo, probablemente no es el mejor vídeo tutorial del mundo, ya que, nunca antes había hecho uno pero lo he hecho con mucho cariño y no ha sido fácil, así que de verdad espero que os guste y que cómo siempre os pido dejeís vuestra opinión en los comentarios.

In this post I add to the blog something new, a tutorial video.

One of you asked me to do it on the last post comments so I decided to try it, probably it´s not the world best tutoria video cos I´ve never done it before but I made it with a lot of love, and It wasn´t easy, so I really hope you´ll like it and as usual I ask you for leaving your opinion at the comments section.

I´ve to be sorry aswell because I only made the video in Spanish but if it was difficult for me to speak it in my own language  in front of a computer imagine how it would be in English.
